It was a good day at the Sunny Beach. The sun was out and it was really hot. A sneaky painter put a bunch of white and grey statues in a wild pattern on the beach. He put them there so the sun could dry them with his special paint. The paint changes color in the sun. He painted one blue and added red. After one day it changed to purple! He painted another one yellow and added blue and it changed to green! He painted every statue head red. It stayed red because the sun dried it before he could add another color. Every second day he went and painted more. The painted statues were for a play called Colors. The play was how colors can change. People stayed at the hotel near the Shark Fin Theatre to see the play. It was a good play and people came from around the world!
We arrive 2 days before my Aunty Candy’s wedding in July. It is at a hotel in Winnipeg. Aunty Candy came to see us and she brought her swimming suit for the indoor pool to play Hide and Go Seek. My mom, Aunty Candy and I start to play. I hide by the mushroom that pours water. I could see my mom but she can’t see me. Then when my mom went to try and find me she was not in the pool...but how could she just disappear...So I went back to my room and knocked on the door. She was in the room! She went to the room to hide because she thought she was the hider. We went back to the pool to look for Aunty Candy. We looked everywhere and found her on the slide. She went so fast down the slide she made a big splash! We go on the slide and go down fast and the water splashes on us! We stopped playing Hide and Go Seek and swim for the rest of the day.
On one sunny day I was going on a fast fast bicycle ride and I had a bubbles in a red container. When I open it was empty. I looked in the red container and I saw glowing pink paint at the bottom. I went riding home to make some more. My mom was working on her computer and I didn’t want to distract my mom to get fired. I put some soap first then I put a lot of water and I put the wand in. I shake it to make bubbles. Then I went flying on my skateboard that can turn orange in sun. I blew big big big pink bubbles for the rest of the afternoon. It was fun.
It was Christmas morning and my brother Alexander got to open a long present. It was a ski scooter. He looked out the window, but there was not enough snow outside. He had to wait for the snow.It finally came 18 days later! We quickly got ready to go to the hill behind Sobey’s.At the top of the hill it was cold and cloudy. I was on my snowboard and Alexander was on his new ski scooter.I went backwards down the hill and quickly the sun came out.It was so bright the light blinded Alexander. He turned and went over a jump so fast and he did a flip and fell. He slid and went in to a big pile of snow. I pulled him out and half of his body was in ice. I laughed and we wanted to go again.
It is Christmas morning and my brother and I are super excited. I wake up first and go to wake up my brother. We run downstairs to see a what gifts Santa has left. All of a sudden mom and dad scare us and we fall down on our butts laughing. I see beside the tree a big box with Santa wrap and a big tag saying “to the family”. I get to open it because I am the youngest. I rip off the top and pull down the wrap and I fell 20 feet to the bottom of the box! My dad threw my pocket knife to me so I could escape! I find a small box and yell, “it’s a Nintendo Switch!” After all of the presents are open we got to take the Nintendo Switch to my grandma's house. We got to all play and take turns with each other. We have a lot of fun and laughs! We play for hours. This gift is the best gift ever for our family.
Elmer S Gish Running Club members wanted to race but they were exhausted after 10 laps. All the girls in the race did not have the laces tied up, were too tired, and didn't eat breakfast.
They forgot to tie up laces because the teacher was talking too much. The teacher was saying to not cheat and have some fun and try to do your best. They couldn't get enough sleep the night before because they were too excited about the race and they couldn't sleep because they lost track of time. So they almost fell asleep on the track. They didn't eat breakfast because they were in a hurry to get to the race. The bus left early because it is a long drive to get to the Butterdome and the race started at 1:00. All the girls were excited and exhausted, but fell asleep on the track!
